Another nineteen thousand one hundred and fourteen more new cases of the china virus yesterday. How many of those cases will turn into death figures over the coming weeks ? One thousand and fourteen died yesterday, Friday 5th February 2021. Locally in Milton Keynes where I live there were seventy-four more cases and three deaths. Have we respected as a country the people behind these figures NO WAY !
I am getting so angry regarding those who are dying each day, their loved ones and those who hared for them in hospital, angry that as a country we are failing to properly respect the real people behind the figures.
Our Monarch should every day be sending out letters of condolence to families. Why is this not happening ?
I despise the glib way the figures are given out each day, given out as a matter pf face with no love, no care and absolutely no understanding. I have a suggestion, well two really.
Every day at 6pm ALL television news media – BBC, ITV & Sky, should have two minutes not of silence but of beautiful music playing over a beautiful background which we can all watch to celebrate the live of those who have left us, to show love and support for families, loved one and carers. Each news channel should run the same image and music every day. Each day there should be a different background and different music. Come on BBC, come on ITV, come on Sky will you do this ? If not why not ? Why not can only mean you do not care !
Newspapers. Every single national newspaper should run every day a banner headline with a background of love across which are celebrated the real people behind the figures. Oh but that won’t sell newspapers will it ?
I am going to put of this suggestion to the media but will it happen ? I doubt it ! Nobody is going to take any notice of me are they

SMILE OF THE DAY: When other people treat you poorly, keep being you. Don’t ever let someone else’s bitterness change the person you are.
What a strange day yesterday was. My reaction to the vaccination made my head feel as if it was exploding, my thoughts were confused, my chest ached and I felt as if I wanted to be sick but knew I was not going to be sick. This came on around midnight then was gone by early afternoon. Strange though it was that was a small price to pay to have received the vaccine, a small price to pay to have done my bit in the fight against the virus.
Poorly I may have been but I forced mself to go to the pharmacy where I was vaccinated to take a card of thanks and a huge envelope of SMILES to thank all of the staff and all of the volunteers. Wonderful, beautiful people who are not only going the extra mile but running that mile at double the speed of an Olympic athlete.
REMEMBER: A SMILE is the vaccine for sadness so go out and vaccinate as many people today as you can.
Yesterday my writing project added another 3,103 words making my total since 1st January 2021 291,082. I even sold four more books on Amazon Kindle bringing my total there since 1st January 2021 to 134.
AMAZON, where would we be in lock down without the mega efficient home delivery service of AMAZON. King of the cyber high street. I ordered a DVD on Thursday, cost me £2.99 and AMAZON delivered it yesterday. That DVD was a drama documentary of Albert Pierrepoint, Executioner Pierrepoint. As I watched it I made notes and will write those into my book BEHIND THE NOOSE telling of serial killers in British History. This book is a debate where I try to inspire readers to think and reach a conclusion on the rights and wrongs of capital punishment. In Britain, of course, this is something from way in the past but in America death row is an every day reality ! Do you know that in the USA, the land of the free, a 14 year old was electrocuted in June 1944 ?
I have another DVD telling the story of The Moors Murderers and another is on its way from AMAZON, a drama documentary surrounding the execution of Derek Bentley. I have so far written 13,093 words so far for this book, I think another ten or twelve thousand words to finish it. I think I will be adding this to my bookshelf round about Monday 15th February.

Wikipedia has given me an idea for a discussion and debate piece of writing to begin once BEHING THE NOOSE is over. It was Henry Ford who said that History Is Bunk. He was right. History is dead, it is a dead list of people, dates and events. However, while history is bunk HERITAGE is alive and well, it is the foundation stone upon which society exists. I am planning to start with King Henry VII who was born on 28th January 1457 and died 21st April 1509 at the age of 52. He reigned 22nd August 1485 to 21st April 1509 – 23 years and 243 days and come right up to date with Queen Elizabeth II, I may go back further than Henry VII, we will see, and look not at the history of their reigns but the heritage their reigns gave as a foundation stone to our society.
Not many people read my diary page when I publish it on failing Google Blogger but that is not really why I am writing it, I write to place it all into a time capsule which I will close on 31st December 2021 and leave instructions it is not to be opened before 1st January 2121. Who will be our monarch then ? What will be the heritage from the reigns of monarchs between today and then ?
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE can the heritage from 2020, 2021 and perhaps 2022 be a better respect for those who are dying every day, greater respect and love for their families and for all who cared for them during their illness. Can we change the opening paragraphs of today’s diary page. PLEASE.
