A SMILE does not come from the face – it comes from the heart.
DAY FOURTEEN:
Thursday 14th January 2021:
A SMILE does not come from the face – it comes from the heart.
I spoke yesterday about two of our local binmen losing their lives to this evil virus which is sweeping the world. 40% of the binmen off sick resulting the council having to cut back on services. Yesterday I wrote to EVERY elected member our council and parish council, almost ONE HUNDRED people sharing my sadness and condolences. FIVE responded – NINETY-FIVE did not ! Those five who did respond sent me truly beautiful messages. Beautiful.
A SMILE does not come from the face – it comes from the heart.
I awoke this morning to find my broadband was down. I fiddled then called BT where a recorded message said staff were not on duty until eight o’clock, it was half past five – no big deal. I fiddled again but without success. How was I going to manage to work without the internet ? Then suddenly the broadband came back and all is well.
I would urge everyone to STOP taking services and the people behind them for granted. BT does a great job and I am a fan of the company. THANK YOU.
We need to stop taking services and those who provide them for granted, how would it be if sickness forced BT to reduce its services by 40%.
A SMILE does not come from the face it comes from the heart.
Today’s SMILE OF THE DAY:
EVERYONE YOU MEET IS FIGHTING A BATTLE YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT. BE KIND. ALWAYS. SAY SOMETHING NICE !
I am watching BBC Breakfast while I write today's diary page. (Not that
anyone reads it he he) The presenter could hardly control herself as she spoke
about PANDEMIC BOTTOM before introducing a keep fit feature.
With everybody in lock down and sitting down pandemic bottom could
become a problem. Are you suffering from pandemic bottom ? I AM ! No BBC I did
not do the physical exercises you suggested but I did SMILE big time. THANKS. I
smiled from the heart of my bottom.
Let’s move on ON THIS DAY what was happening in history ?
14th January 1967: The Human Bi-In took place in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park launching The Summer of Love.
14th January 1977: Anthony Eden born 1897, former prime
minister died.
Going through all of the lists on Wikiewhatnot that’s all I could find
that I remember.

my way through the challenge. I published a new book JUKEBOX JURY yesterday and
today plan to sort out the issues in my poetry collection so Amazon will make
that live.
